IPIL, Philippines – One of the four most wanted persons in Zamboanga Sibugay had died in a law enforcement operation Thursday.

Capt. Edwin Duco, Police Regional Office 9 (PRO 9) information officer, said a joint military and police operation had killed Ibrahim Anduhol here in Upper Pangi village.

The troops, according to the information gathered by THE MINDANAO SUN, served a warrant of arrest for Anduhol at around 2:35 a.m. on Thursday.

But the suspect allegedly refused to surrender, which resulted to a brief shootout.

Authorities said the slain suspect was involved in the killing of Staff Sergeant Juan Ablao, Jr. on May 2, 2015.

He also figured in the kidnapping of Kathy Grace Cunting Sarabia in Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay on June 17, 2015; kidnapping of Alejandro Bation in Kabasalan on July 15, 2018.

Authorities have also tagged him in the murder of Patrolman Arthur Decena on December 6. (THE MINDANAO SUN)
